Ronin's Baby Blessing
On June 20th, 2021, we were so blessed to have Ronin blessed in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In doctrine we have received, we learn that "Every member of the church of Christ having children is to bring them unto the elders before the church, who are to lay their hands upon them in the name of Jesus Christ, and bless them in His name." (Doctrine and Covenants 20:70). This is significant to us because we are bring the child to Jesus Christ and give him a name by which he will be known for on this earth. It's a very special day that new parents look forward to!
Preston was able to give Ronin his blessing. There is no preparing for it, he doesn't think of what to say beforehand. He just says what the spirit tells him to say during the blessing. We had family and friends join us in bringing Ronin unto Christ, and it was even more special because it happened on Preston's first Father's Day. It was such a great day to celebrate both Ronin and Preston.
