DISNEYLAND!!

We took Ronin to Disneyland when he was 3.5 months old. We had a family planned trip before COVID closed everything down. We already had our hotel and air credits, and we decided that there was no better time than to just go. We hopped on a plane on a Thursday night, and had the best few days in the park.

Ronin was such a trooper this trip. I was worried about a 3.5 month old on a plane, but he was so chill. He cried a little bit on the second flight, but that was when we were descending and his ears were popping. I was able to put my breast or a binky in his mouth and that helped calm him down. He also slept really well in an unfamiliar place. He slept in the hotel room with four other people which he is not used to, and he slept in a crib that he wasn't used to. He got up at his usual times during the night, but the people in the hotel room with us (grandma and grandpa) said that they didn't even heard Ronin make any noise or let me know it was time to eat! He also did so well nursing in the park. There is a dedicated mother's room which was good and he liked, but he also did very well just nursing on random benches or wherever we were. He loved looking around at all the people and loved the bright colors everywhere. He even slept through the fireworks show both nights!

We took Ronin on jungle cruise and it's a small world, and he liked them both! He liked it's a small world better than jungle cruise. On jungle cruise, he got sprayed with water and was not a happy camper. He loved the colors and the sounds of it's a small world. He sat on my lap and couldn't stop looking at EVERYTHING! Those were the only two rides I felt comfortable taking him on at that point, although I know there were more that were safe for him. Next time I want to take him on rides like the Winnie the Pooh ride and pirates of the Caribbean.
